Poetry Copywork

Poetry is a great tool to help children learn to read, enjoy the sounds of the English language through rhyme scheme and phonetic repetition as well as learn about new concepts in various subject areas all at the same time.  Poetry can also really appeal to the musically gifted as well.  Consider using poetic copywork to help your learner develop an ear and heart for learning.
