 Fun Printable Learning Labels

Help keep your learning day and learning area better organized with our printable labels.  Each label has a picture as well as a graphic to represent the words to help even the littlest learners keep their special learning area in order. 

We realize that not everyone needs labels or has the space for them, but for those who have designated learning rooms or who have larger families, tidiness is crucial to learning success.  What do I mean by this?  Ask yourself how much time gets wasted in your learning day because learners can't find their:  books, pieces to complete a project for their learning portfolio, scissors and glue stick for lapbooking?  How many minutes are wasted transitioning from one subject to the next or trying to figure out who will be on the computer next?  These may not seem like big problems to you right now and if so, great for you!  Kudos!  Have us over for tea sometime, please.   But when you have more than a few children, a spirited child or a baby in tow, and are burnt out after the servitude of the holidays, every little thing to keep things in order will make a difference!!  Don't ask me how I know, instead meet me in our forum and we can chat about it at length..lol.

Fun Printable Learning Labels

Organize Your Learning Day

Help children keep track of their learning day with these subject labels.  Use these labels to set-up a loose (or tight) learning schedule.  Simply print out, cut apart on lines and order according to the day's tasks.  Laminate for more durability.  You can affix to posterboard, bulletin board or simply use low-tack painter's tape on a wall and grid out the day for each child.  As children gain more organizational experience, have them order their day according to their preferences.  (Pictured left is the painters tape with child's desired order.)  It is amazing how much more gets accomplished when children feel a bit more control over their learning.  It doesn't need to be perfect, just fun!

Reading Basket Labels

Help readers keep their books organized by genre or reading level with labels for plastic baskets, bookshelves or containers.  This is an easy way to see what books you have or move collections to eager reader's bedrooms.  Many plastic containers fit directly onto prefab bookcases.  We have also laminated the labels and affixed them directly to the bookshelf with clear removable tape.  As our collections grew on shelves we simply moved the labels to match.
