Colouring Pages to Help Children Learn About the Rosary

 

The rosary is a wonderfully beautiful sacramental, or tool, to assist us in prayer.  By contemplating the life of our Lord, we become closer to Him.  There is no way to get close to Him, however, without getting to know His holy and blessed mother, the Virgin Mary. 

By stopping to contemplate the extraordinary events in our Lord's life, we take a break from the modern world and raise our hearts and minds to God.  Whether we are contemplating the Joyful Mysteries, which tell about the birth and childhood of Jesus, or The Sorrowful Mysteries which tell about our Lord's passion and death, or perhaps we need to uplift our spirits by remembering our Lord's triumph in the Resurrection - the rosary helps us to stay close to God.

Click the links below to download the colouring sheet of your choice.  These coloring pages have more intricate designs and will be a welcomed challenge to older learners.  Using pencil crayons or fine tipped felts, beautiful works of art can be created for bedroom, homeschool, bulletin board or classroom decorations.
