Notebooking Resources For Homeschoolers
Notebooking is a fun and creative way to enhance and document learning using a variety of writing supplies and tools, notation styles, pictures, drawings or diagramming, and one's imagination. It can be used for just about any subject and appeals to many different age levels. It is a very simple way to encourage writing and show excellent proof of learning or solid learning samples. Art and drawing fans and even those who like to scrapbook find notebooking a great way to show knowledge and creativity at the same time.
To use these resources, simply print them out in the style and line spacing desired and have your child fill them in. Some styles allow for spaces for drawing or affixing pictures, stickers, fieldtrip mementos or holy cards. These resources can be used with K-12. They are very versatile and very popular with Charlotte Mason style learners and Classical Learners as well.
Hint: After pages are completed, slip them into clear plastic page protectors to preserve them. Have learners order chronologically and you have the makings of a really nice history timeline notebook. (See picture sample above.)
