Use these strips as word wall type decorations, to feature the current wordlist
of the week on the bulletin board or to distinguish words mastered from new words to
be learned.
One word strip is provided for each word list and they are provided in .PDF format with two strips per page. This resource can be printed on plain or heavier bond paper. You may want to laminate the strips for prolonged use and handling. Once laminated lists can be marked with crayons which can easily removed.
You may also use these strips as flashcard wordlists as well. As a review activity learners could try to quickly read as many words from a list as possible. As soon as one word is missed proceed to the next review list. In our little homeschool, we do it like a neat little race going to a specific beat or pattern that our child has chosen. This is lots of fun and reinforcement can be easily accomplished this way.
