Our Virtue LessonsConsiderationCourageDeterminationJoyfulnessKindnessLoveResponsibilityThankfulness
The Virtue of ThankfulnessIn this lesson we will define Thankfulness this way: Thankfulness is being grateful for what I have been given by the Lord, my parents, my family, my friends and the world. Thankfulness is the beginning of being happy with what I already have. Not only is it important to be thankful for special things, but for the nice little things that happen around me everyday. Here are the materials and resources needed for Our Virtue Lesson on Thankfulness. Bible Scripture PassagesBe anxious about
nothing. But in all things, with prayer and supplication, with acts of
thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God. And so
shall the peace of God, which exceeds all understanding, guard your
hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:6-7 I speak not as it were for want. For I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, to be content therewith. - Philippians 4:11
But piety with sufficiency is great
gain. See more scripture passages that can be used to discuss this virtue at the left.
