The Virtue of Consideration"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God" (Mt 5:9) -CCC: 2330 In this lesson we will define Consideration this way: Consideration is thinking about others before myself. It is noticing how my words and actions affect the way other people feel and trying to make them feel as important as I do. Consideration means I should know and respect that God made everyone differently and special in their own way. Here are the materials and resources needed for Our Virtue Lesson on Consideration. The A-Z of Ways to Show Consideration
|
Bible Scripture PassagesYou are the light of the world. A city seated on a mountain cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but upon a candlestick, that it may shine to all that are in the house. So let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. -Matthew 5:14-16
But the wisdom, that is from above,
first indeed is chaste, then peaceable, modest, easy to be persuaded,
consenting to the good, full of mercy and good fruits, without judging,
without dissimulation. And the fruit of justice is sown in peace, to
them that make peace. -James 3:17-18 Walk with wisdom towards them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always in grace seasoned with salt: that you may know how you ought to answer every man. -Colossians 4:5-6
