Are all of your resources Catholic?

You do not need to be a Catholic to join us here, however much of our content is geared toward Catholic learners.  Not all of our resources are Catholic.  Many are just Christian in nature and some are just content specific resources for math, writing, etc.  Keep in mind that we are a Catholic family and 95% of all of the in-house resources offered were created for our family's use and we now gladly share them with other families.  This is merely an apostolate.

How often do you update your resources?

We aim for weekly additions of new resources.  As all homeschooling families know, home is a busy place.  We are constantly creating and developing resources for our children to use and look forward to sharing them with other families as time and energy permits.  To keep up with all of our new resource postings, consider signing up for our free resource updates E-Newsletter.  A current e-mail address is required.  Click here to sign up now.

We do not share, post, sell, rent, or otherwise give others access to any of our e-family's e-mail information.  See our Privacy Statement to learn more.

Do you recommend any special tools to get the most out of your resources?

There are some key tools that we use on a regular basis to make the most of our creations.

  • A laminator - We use a standard sized heat laminator.
  • A colour laser jet printer - This is more cost effective per page used than an ink jet.
  • A comb binder
  • A corner rounder punch - I use this to make the corners of laminated projects less sharp
  • A good paper cutter with a measuring gauge

Why are most all of your resources only offered in colour?

Our philosophy is to make our materials come to life in colour.  For the same reason that our Lord provided variety in our food with colour, so too must the food we feed our children's hearts and minds be vibrant.  We realize that ink usage may be a deterrent to use for some families, but in the big picture it really is worth it.

We try to offer resources that can be used over and over again with some simple laminating as well as some solid resources that children may want to keep over time.  We have tried to use minimal colour on some of the copywork and handwriting sheets, but the truth is that some of the graphics we've used were chosen because they are beautiful and thus makes using the sheet, project or game more fun.  St. John Bosco believed in fun in learning and we do too!

If coloured ink is really an issue for you, simply print out the resource in grayscale.  Almost all modern printers offer this option.  Another alternative to spice up black and white resources is to print them on coloured copy paper.

Can I contribute a resource to be shared with other learners?

Yes, by all means, we welcome contributions by our e-family of visitours.  As you may see throughout the site, we have been able to share resources by caring musicians, photographers, parishes, and homeschooling families just like yours and ours.  We are thankful for the charity that people have shown to help our little homeschool apostolate grow and reach learners, both catholic and non-catholic, around the globe.

We have made sure to give credit to the wonderful folks who have contributed to our efforts in the past.  If you would like to contribute a resource, an article, or link please feel free to contact us through our Feedback page.

Some of the resources I came to use are gone.  Where did they go?

In an effort to make our site better organized and easier to navigate, we have removed some of our less popular resources to make way for new resources.  If there is something in particular that you want but can no longer find, please contact us through our Feedback page and we can try to help you locate your resource on the new site or tell you if it is no longer available.
