The Aesop For Children, Illustrated by Milo Winter

We learn about morality and how we should act from God's word in the Holy Bible, the Canon Laws of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and our rich church traditions.  Sometimes these concepts can be a little hard to understand for young learners.  To help reinforce the ideas of good behaviour, solid moral thinking, and proper etiquette to little ones, we can add extra resources like Aesop's Fables.  Dating back to 5th Century B.C., these fables written by a Greek slave, are one of the oldest sources of moral training and character building stories in history.

Join us as we journey through this resource.  We have tried to provide a number of resources for this work including printable story sheets, audio versions of some of the fables, colouring sheets, copywork, Montessori cards, and more.  Find individual fables below.  Follow their link to read the story online as well as be able to listen to it, print it out, and find other specific resources that go with it.  Some additional resource collections can be found at the bottom of this page.
