"Never read books you aren't sure about . . . even supposing that these bad books are very well written from a literary point of view. Let me ask you this: Would you drink something you knew was poisoned just because it was offered to you in a golden cup?" -St. John Bosco |

Books are the core resources of most homeschool homes. From picture books to novels, textbooks to craft books, reading helps to build skills, form character, and bring ideas to life. As we read quality books with our children we try to create materials and go-alongs that are fun to use and speak to the heart of our children through the literature both in words as well as illustrations. Children must understand what they read in order to recognize God's glory in it. "And Philip running thither, heard him reading the prophet Isaias. And he said: Thinkest thou that thou understandest what thou readest? Who said: And how can I, unless some man shew me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him." Acts 8:30-31
